The government has invited interested parties in the UK the opportunity to have input into Autumn Statement 2014; which is the next annual update on growth and borrowing forecasts, and when tax and spending measures will also be announced.
This year , Chancellor George Osborne has announced that the Autumn Statement will be on 3rd December 2014 (just six months before the general election). HM Treasury this year have asked businesses, charities and members of the public to submit ‘original and innovative ideas’ and have said they will consider these suggestions as part of their policy making process.
Guidance notes have been published advising on the required content, and representations should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org in time for the deadline of 17 October 2014.
